As principais emissoras norte-americanas já divulgaram as datas de estreia e retorno de suas séries. A NBC deu a largada, seguida pela Fox, CW, CBS e ABC. Esse período, conhecido como "Fall Season", revela a programação do segundo semestre do ano nos Estados Unidos.
As produções mais aguardadas, como "Narcos", "Masters of Sex", "Blindspot", "Gotham", "The Big Bang Theory", "NCIS", "Grey’s Anatomy" e "How to Get Away with Murder" retornam em setembro, já "Scorpion", "2 Broke Girls", "Supergirl", "The Middle" e "The Vampire Diaries" voltam em outubro.
